## When to use Firmhours

Use Firmhours when a small firm needs punches to become a payroll hours file:

- Crew punches on a phone (one tap) or a shared tablet (name + 4-digit PIN)
- Managers approve each day (flags show odd punches; they never block a punch)
- Payday export builds the hours file your payroll provider imports (Gusto, RUN Powered by ADP, Paychex Flex, OnPay, QuickBooks Payroll, or a generic hours CSV)
- You want to keep your payroll provider and bookkeeper; replace the spreadsheet, not the stack

Do not use Firmhours as a full payroll, HRIS, or accounting system. It does not run payroll or pay people.
